    Important information

To support schools in the current period and beyond, we are developing a range of learning materials that aim to replicate activities from our face-to-face workshops. These can be used at any time to fit in with your teaching schedule. See our Primary and Secondary pages below to see what is currently available or coming soon.

You can also explore a wealth of online learning resources on our website and keep up to date with us on Twitter.

Our programme for PrimarySecondary and FE learners encourages curiosity, creativity and exploration, enriching the curriculum and developing lifelong learning skills. We also offer self-guided visits for school groups, enabling independent exploration of our galleries and public spaces.

Our CPD events support teachers to develop subject knowledge, reinvigorate classroom practice and nurture a passion for their subject, with sessions featuring well-respected authors, academics and educational practitioners. Our website is brimming with ideas and inspiration for the classroom, from Gothic literature to medieval history and from World War One to feminism.

We're gradually reopening to keep everyone safe however, our onsite schools programme remains closed until further notice.
